monochromos abroad

I'm starting to assemble some global monochromos. When I was in Chiang Mai with Evan earlier this year, I kept wanting to take a photo of all the monks in their orange robes which were a pretty impressive en masse chromos moment, unfortunately the best photo I got  was this rather surreptitious one, but I still really like the subtle variety of yellow you can see in the robes and socks.

When my friend Laura  was in Berlin a month or so ago, she spotted this simple but effective black and white monochromos team and managed to snap them! Sometimes I think black in it's ubiquity is too easy to include everytime as a true chromos, especially in Melbourne, but here in Laura's photo with the contrasting white, I like!

And today, my friend Isabelle emailed me this photo of her taken in London and it could be one of the best monochromos I've seen yet!
